Embrace comfort and tranquility with natural light, fresh native flora and Vermont-inspired treatments reflecting the changing seasons.Job Summary:The Certified Massage Therapist will perform massage and body treatments in a high-end customer service environment. The successful candidate will love to help others and share their passion for therapeutic massage. The candidate will be professional and prompt, have a diverse understanding of anatomy and massage techniques, and be able to read client's needs accurately.Job Specifications:Expected Pay Range: Starting $11.00 per hour plus commissionThe pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time or Full TimeMust be available weekends and holidaysJob Responsibilities:Maintain the highest level of massage services and knowledge and a complete understanding of all spa services presently offered.Perform all treatments with regard to the guest's safety, wellbeing and privacy.Begin and end all treatments on time.Ensure all work areas are clean and sanitized.Job Requirements:Possess Vermont massage license.Excellent communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must.Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest.High School diploma or equivalent.One year of experience providing massage services preferred.Proficient in various types of massage such as Swedish and deep tissue, additional specialty modalities a plus.Must be able to perform three to four consecutive massages.Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.We offer great resort privileges, discounts, and free employee meal to all employees.Those hired into full time positions are eligible after an initial waiting period for a competitive benefits package that includes * Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage, *Employer Paid: Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability* Paid Time Off, * 401k Retirement Plan with Employer match.Our success is the direct result of dynamic, dedicated people with a passion for hospitality who enjoy being part of a devoted, hard-working team.
