Responsibilities Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for positioning the patient and equipment and producing an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is also responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. Qualifications Education and Work Experience RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintained. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire. Previous experience preferred. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate. Proficient computer skills. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
