Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer General position is located in Newberg, Oregon. This role involves performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including breast, vascular, obstetric, and abdominal imaging, utilizing Philips and GE ultrasound systems. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and involves working days, with specific weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday, each lasting 12 hours.

Job Details:

• Location: Newberg, Oregon
• Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of ultrasound experience; certifications including RDMS OB/GYN, RDMS AB, ARRT S, BLS; active US-based licensure; experience with EPIC charting system; community hospital experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Breast certification and vascular experience; management or lead experience; experience with complex vascular cases, biopsies, and procedures such as thoracentesis and FNA.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Four rooms with Philips and GE ultrasound units; high volume of breast work including biopsies; coverage of outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room cases; complex vascular cases managed in one specialized room.
• Clinical Operations: Staff may float between units and nearby facilities; candidates should have a vehicle; submission responses required regarding previous employment at the facility or related assignments.
• Additional Information: Immunizations may be required, and candidates must be flexible to work holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Years Eve and Day; specific scheduling requests must be made during submittal.
