The facility handles a wide range of cases, excluding major pediatrics and transplants. It operates as a Level 2 trauma center, managing some orthopedic, neurological trauma, robotics procedures, and more. RNs are encouraged, though not required, to scrub in. There is a call requirement, with rotation among staff. Response time for calls is expected to be within 30 minutes. Surgeons are on call 24/7 for their cases. Vents mainly recover in the ICU. The pharmacy and respiratory team are available 24/7. There is no floating between units. One week of floor-specific orientation is provided. Candidates must demonstrate reliable work habits, flexibility, and a readiness to serve the operational needs. The skills checklist must accurately reflect experience; if rated as proficient, the candidate must meet that skill level. Holiday coverage will rotate with permanent staff, and flexibility is a must.
