Job Title: CO - RN Day Surgery/Procedures (Preop/Postop -phase 2)

City/State: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Shift: 4-10 hour day shifts with evening/weekend call rotation.

Contract Length: 10 weeks

Job Description:

RN to work with patients Pre-op and Post-op Phase II/Procedures in Day Surgery Unit. Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice. Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area. Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital.

Requirements:

• Epic Experience. We are switching EMRs from Meditech to Epic during this assignment.
• Must be available to work evening/weekend call rotations.
• Three years RN experience in Day Surgery/Procedure/IV Infusion - not Chemo.
• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• Colorado Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing (RN) experience.
• PACU/CCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
• Flu Vaccine required - no exemptions.
