A small, close-knit team that has each other's back?This could be the place for you!Pay Range: $23 – $25/hour + Robust BenefitsLocation: Longmont, COPosition Type: Direct HireHours: Mon – Th: 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Fridays Off!)Why consider this Quality Inspector – Injection Molding position:Small, close-knit team of fewer than 10.Positive, hardworking team that has one another's back.People-focused leader who genuinely values every individual.Culture rooted in prioritizing family and health.Clean, organized, state-of-the-art facility.Opportunities to learn new skills and grow your career.Hands-on training on 1st shift before moving to 2nd.Robust benefits package that will make you feel valued.How you'll spend your time as a Quality Inspector – Injection Molding:Inspect small injection-molded parts from automated and manual machines.Take hourly production samples and verify conformance.Interpret 2D part prints and follow Job Quality Plans.Measure parts using calipers, gauge pins, height stands, and microscopes.Conduct First Article Inspections using SmartScope and other equipment.Review startup parts and escalate quality concerns when needed.Review work in progress parts from other shifts and weekends.Quality stamp approved boxes for release to Finished Goods.Label and organize master, defective, and last run samples.Participate in quality audits and maintain a clean, safe work area.Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, quality, and customer service.Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Quality Inspector – Injection Molding:Prior quality inspection or measurement experience preferred.Experience with calipers, gauge pins, height stands, and microscopes.Ability to read and interpret 2D part prints.SmartScope experience is a plus.Injection molding experience is helpful but not required.Strong work ethic and ability to work without direct supervision.Good vision and fine motor skills for inspecting very small parts.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Clear, direct communicator who handles issues constructively.
