Travel RN- Obstetrics/Med Surg 12hr Nights REQ: 296947 (Full Time) Location: Atlantic, IA Pay Rate: Up to $95/hr. combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Additional Bonuses, Group Health Insurance benefits available day 1, 401k and more - Shifts: 12 hour nights every third weekend Job Summary Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the care provided in the patient care department which is consistent with the established strategic plan, goals, and objectives for the organization Key Responsibilities Responsible for 24-hour management of the patient care department ensuring safety, quality, and exceptional patient experiences. Supports optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical, and biological sciences that utilize the nursing process. Demonstrates attributes of servant leadership, communicates exceptionally, and motivates others to achieve outcomes through work with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements BSN required, MSN preferred. *Compact License Allowed**Must have taxable address outside of 90 miles from facility** Minimum 2-3years exp. Maternity services; L&D, MB, PP, NICU, Nursery Minimum 1 1/2years exp. Interim leadership/nurse manager experience BLS, ACLS, MOAB, and NIHSS required. Experience in telemetry or step-down preferred. Strong assessment, multitasking, and crisis management skills. Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
