Data Engineer

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for improving the current production system, implementing further data collection and analysis, and launching Industry 4.0 pilot projects. This role requires on-site presence at our China site.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and improve the existing production data system, identifying gaps and inefficiencies

Design and implement additional data collection points across production lines and processes

Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and analysis tools to support process monitoring and decision-making

Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities

Lead and support Industry 4.0 pilot projects, from concept through implementation and evaluation

Collaborate with process engineers, production teams, and IT to align data solutions with operational needs

Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems

Document systems, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing
