Telemetry Technician - Full-time

Position: Telemetry Technician Location: Memphis, TN (Inside of Baptist East Hospital) Schedule: Full Time Nights, Three 12-hour shifts Compensation: $18.50 to $22.56 per hour (based on years of experience) Job Overview Selective Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post‑ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Telemetry Technicians play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way. Responsibilities Continuously watch all assigned monitors and respond promptly to alarms. Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact; maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond to all alarms as needed. Complete EKG interpretations including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm interpretation. Ensure strip interpretations are validated by an RN. Minimum Qualifications Must complete and pass an EKG class for Monitor Techs and required competencies on the education platform within 30 days of the start date in the position, and pass any other tests or competencies required by Select Medical. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training (LPNs limited to working as telemetry tech only). #J-18808-Ljbffr
