Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students as an onsite Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This position begins in August 2026 and concludes in May 2027, offering a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week. You'll play a vital role in supporting students from kindergarten through high school in a collaborative educational environment in the Lake Placid, FL area.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Florida
• Previous experience in a school setting (K-12) is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning spaces
• Adaptability when working with students of various ages and abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite occupational therapy services as part of the educational team
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs
• Assess and document students’ functional and developmental needs related to school performance
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to ensure integrated support for each student
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and ongoing professional development
