Through Westminster-Canterbury's LifeCare program, residents benefit from seamless access to higher levels of care as needs change.What You'll Do In This Role:Clinical Leadership & QualityDirect all nursing operations for Hoy Healthcare Center and Enhanced Services.Ensure high-quality resident and rehabilitation care.Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, including wounds, falls, infections, and weight management.Oversee infection prevention, surveillance, and antibiotic stewardship programs.Lead Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and state survey preparedness efforts.Team Leadership & StaffingManage staffing levels to ensure safe, effective resident care.Supervise and mentor clinical leaders, including the Enhanced Services Clinical Coordinator.Support recruitment, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary processes.Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.Compliance & OperationsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and community regulations.Oversee resident assessments, care planning, admissions, transfers, and discharges.Maintain nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards.Participate in administrative planning, budgeting, and operational improvement projects.Serve in the administrative on-call rotation.Education & CollaborationDevelop and implement clinical education and competency programs.Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation teams, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary partners.Represent Westminster-Canterbury in professional and community activities.The Experience You'll Bring:RequiredCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 5 years nursing leadership experienceExperience in skilled nursing or post-acute careStrong background in quality improvement, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance.Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care operations.Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and standard business software applications.Ability to effectively lead teams, manage competing priorities, and make sound clinical decisions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.PreferredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters of Nursing (MSN).Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and clinical operational initiatives.Comprehensive knowledge of gerontological nursing trends, best practices, and standards.Prior experience working in a life plan communityCompensation Range: $120,000- $160,000 + yearly bonus potential (based on relevant experience)Role Specific Perks Include:The opportunity to work for a strong, stable nursing leadership team that has tenure at WCBay and that pride themselves on being responsive and supportiveBeing part of a function that is focused on avoiding burnout through excellent staffing ratios (5 Stars on the CMS Staffing metric)- nurse:patient ratio 1:12Full-Time Employee Benefits & Perks Include:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (Available Day One!)Life & Disability Insurance (Short- and Long-Term)Retirement Plan with Employer MatchPaid Time Off (PTO) & 6 Paid Holidays (+ 2 Floating Holidays)Tuition Assistance + Scholarships for You & Your FamilyEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Legal/Identity Theft Protection PlansTeam Member DiscountsCareer Growth & Leadership Development OpportunitiesAt-Will Employment Statement Employment with our organization is "at-will," meaning that either the employee or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice, and for any reason not prohibited by law.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
