Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100–$2,260
• Location: Scranton/Dickson City, Pennsylvania
• Employment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: February 8, 2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts, approximately 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call and Floating: No call or floating required
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in adult acute care and outpatient settings
• Current ARRT(R) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency with routine diagnostic X-ray examinations, bedside and portable radiography, and emergency imaging
• Experience working with Siemens radiology equipment preferred
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection prevention, isolation precautions, and personal protective equipment
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan
• Valid Pennsylvania license or certification as required for the role

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols and provider orders
• Complete routine, trauma, emergency department, ICU, bedside, and portable X-ray procedures
• Obtain quality images of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, skull, pelvis, and other anatomical areas
• Safely position and communicate with patients while adapting imaging techniques to meet individual needs
• Apply radiation protection principles for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient image workflow through electronic charting and imaging systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support timely patient care
• Follow infection control, isolation, equipment safety, and department quality standards
