Full-time, 40-hour work week with two permanent days off, overtime as required.Salary Range: $25.3503 - $34.7028 PER HOUR / $52,728.7119 - $72,181.9255 ANNUALJob Summary: This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of all airport buildings focusing on HVAC, electrical and plumbing.Essential Job Functions:Assist other departmental personnel in the maintenance of building equipment whenever necessary.Replacing HVAC filters.Replacement of light bulbs.Perform daily equipment checks.Clean and restore airport facilities, and equipment rooms as required or specified.Snow removal operations.Performs all other duties as assigned and directed.Administer and adhere to all Authority policies and guidelines.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge and ability to use power and hand tools.Knowledge of practices and materials used in building maintenance.Good organizational skills.Excellent communication skills.Basic computer skillsDetail Oriented.Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.Education/Training:High school graduate or equivalent.Trade school or equivalentExperience:Minimum 2 years' experience general building maintenance.Special Requirements:Possess a valid driver's license and must meet NAA driving record requirements.Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge as may be required by assigned job duties and responsibilities.Successful completion of both pre-employment written examination and physical agility testing.Equipment Operation: Motor vehicles, including snow removal equipment (snowplow, sand spreader); forklift 5K: aerial work platforms; extensive use of hand tools; power sewer snake: field radio; and hand radio.Physical & Mental Demands: Persons with disabilities may be able to perform the essential duties of this class with reasonable accommodation.
