The Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, transporters, techs and registered nurses. The Emergency Department sees on average 170 patients per day with varying acuities and a wide variety of illnesses and injuries, from pediatric to geriatrics.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides quality patient care consistent with the standards and guidelines established by AnMed Health Emergency Department.Works under the guidance and supervision of the Emergency Department nurse(s) and charge nurse(s)Provides treatment as ordered by the physician(s) / provider(s), helping to promote quality and safe care to the patients within the departmentQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDCompletion of an approved nursing assistant training course, hospital-based nursing assistant, phlebotomist, EMT, or surgical technician.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in health-related fieldCurrent certifications in Rhythms Interpretation, Phlebotomy, BLSBenefits*Medical Insurance & Wellness OfferingsCompensation, Retirement & Financial PlanningFree Financial CounselingWork-Life Balance & Paid Time Off (PTO)Professional DevelopmentFor more information, please visit: anmed.org/careers/benefits*Varied benefits packages are available to employees in positions with a 0.6 FTE or higher
