Senior Digital Product Manager

Overview The Senior Product Manager is responsible for elevating and modernizing 7‑Eleven’s customers, store and franchisee facing experiences. The role involves defining product strategy, developing, launching, and enhancing products and services that drive the business forward, including digital payments‑related experiences such as checkout, stored payment methods, payment preferences, refunds, transaction issue resolution, or integrations with payment partners. Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Empathize with and understand the end user deeply to determine the fastest path to deliver value. Translate business goals into product strategy and communicate direction and priorities to the development, matrixed, and third‑party teams. Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to drive product value; continuously refine the product backlog. Monitor research and competitive landscape to recommend best solutions and maintain class‑in‑class status. Ensure product direction balances user needs and business goals of driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Delivery & Execution Collaborate with user research and testing teams to formulate, test, and refine hypotheses through user research. Prioritize and incorporate user stories into release planning. Make product decisions that drive value daily. Partner with engineering, UX, QA, finance, operations, risk, and third‑party teams to deliver customer‑facing digital experiences, including payments‑adjacent capabilities. Assess and mitigate risks for features and enhancements. Translate customer and operational needs into clear product requirements. Lead and mentor the team during standups, planning, demos, and retrospectives. Communicate complex technical concepts in non‑technical language for stakeholders. Team & Stakeholder Foster collaboration with team members to drive value and resolve impediments. Advocate for modern agile development practices. Work with the product team to assess progress, disseminate lessons, and plan next steps. Manage cross‑functional team expectations to execute on product strategy and prioritize based on tangible benefits. Guide junior team members in strategy, analysis, and execution. Participate in and contribute to learning activities around agile design. Support talent acquisition, development, and retention activities. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years experience in digital/agile product management. Prior exposure to digital payments, checkout, wallet, fintech, retail, e‑commerce, or transaction‑based customer experiences. Proven experience translating customer needs into product features and UI design; proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, wireframing, and analytics software. Experience working with full‑stack teams and understanding of APIs and microservices architecture. Strong analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field. MBA or Master’s degree. Familiarity with digital payments concepts: authorization, settlement, tokenization, refunds, disputes, fraud controls, or payment provider integrations; deep domain expertise.
