Assistant Store Manager

Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dependable Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This role involves supporting the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, leading team members, and ensuring top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate is results-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about team development, helping the community and retail success.
Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities and Duties
Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations and staff management
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer needs and issues effectively
Supervise, train, and motivate retail associates to achieve performance goals
Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising standards
Open and close the store, handle cash register operations, and balance tills
Analyze sales data and support promotional planning and execution
Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation
Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with all operational procedures
Assistant Store Manager Qualifications and Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capabilities
Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Preferred schedule Wednesday - Friday 11:45am to-8:15pm Saturday 9:30am to 6:15pm and Sunday 11:30 to 5:15 pm. Lunches are paid.
High energy, dependable, and goal-oriented
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Experience in customer service, team leadership, or sales operations
