Location: Beacon Hill, Boston, MA Compensation: $35–$40 per hour Commitment Level: Long-term, ongoing Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Position Overview An adult household in Beacon Hill is seeking a meticulous, proactive Housekeeper to manage the day-to-day care of a multi-level residence of approximately 5,000 square feet. This is a cleaning-first role for a candidate who takes genuine pride in a spotless, well-ordered home and who anticipates needs without being asked. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, discreet, and comfortable working independently with minimal direction. Light cooking ability is a strong plus but secondary to housekeeping. Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $35–$40 per hour 30 guaranteed hours per week Consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends Adult-only household Administrative support on staff Responsibilities Deep and daily cleaning of a multi-level residence as the primary focus of the role Maintaining a high standard of organization throughout the home, including detailed closet management and uniform garment presentation Full laundry care, including sorting by fabric and care requirements Managing dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up Maintaining grocery inventory and completing regular grocery shopping Light meal preparation as needed, including salads and healthy meals prepared to recipe Proactively identifying and addressing household needs without prompting Requirements Prior professional housekeeping experience in a private residence Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain systems independently Clear communication skills in English Excellent discretion, professionalism, and understanding of appropriate boundaries in a private home Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references #J-18808-Ljbffr Gilder Search Group
