Neurologist (Outpatient Practice)
Location: West Nyack, New York
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a well-established outpatient neurology practice in West Nyack, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality neurological care in a collaborative, physician-led environment with access to advanced diagnostic technology and multidisciplinary support. The position offers a balanced Monday-Friday schedule with minimal call responsibilities, allowing for an outstanding work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia, and neuromuscular conditions.
- Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Interpret and utilize diagnostic studies such as EEG, EMG/NCS, MRI, CT, and other neurodiagnostic testing.
- Coordinate patient care with primary care physicians and other medical specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Active or eligible for New York medical licensure.
- DEA certification or eligibility.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fellowship training is welcome but not required.
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday outpatient clinic
- Minimal shared call
- No mandatory inpatient responsibilities
