What you'll be doing...
At NWA, we process claims per specific plan requirements. These plans are highly customized and can vary greatly. A successful claim processor at NWA understands the nuances involved with medical claims and the importance of claims being processed timely and accurately. If hired in the role, you will:
- Prepare time loss files for initial set-up
- Research files for specific time loss information
- Review and process time loss claims accurately and thoroughly according to the benefits and eligibility guidelines
- Initiate telephone calls to obtain specific time loss information
- Pay, Pend or Deny based on established claims processing criteria
- Process Disability and Waivers based on Trusts rules

- Experienced. Knowledgeable about benefits and eligibility
- Communicator. Strong verbally and in writing including interpersonal skills

- Technically Savvy . Proficient with technology, intermediate level Excel and Word
