*500 hiring bonus available. $500 paid out after 6 months of employment for external candidates only.Are you looking for a position with a high level of customer service in a cooperative team-oriented work environment?Our team of cashiers are passionate about providing excellent customer service and enjoy daily interactions with people in our community.The Cashier position involves fast-paced, detail-oriented processing of transactions with accuracy and efficiency at check out. They enjoy working with customers and a close team of staff. Cashiers provide information about becoming a member as well as store policies and procedures with a friendly welcoming attitude. There are occasional opportunities to assist in other departments based on the needs of the store including grocery, bulk, produce, and the deli.Our ideal candidate has:Retail experienceStrong communication skillsMoney handling experienceDemonstrated efficient service experience with a high level of accuracyFlexibility when service priorities shift during the dayKnowledge of natural foods with a desire to learn moreThis position offers part-time hours with a set weekly schedule of 24 hours.
