The Trade & Customs team sits within the Flow organization in Supply Chain & Planning Operations (SCPO) and is responsible for advancing Nike’s global trade capabilities, optimizing trade costs, and strengthening governance models that mitigate trade compliance risk across the enterprise.As the Lead, Trade and Customs, you will report to the Director, Trade & Customs Operations and partner closely with teams across the Global Trade Network. This includes Trade & Customs teams across all geographies, Customs & Trade Legal, Supply Chain Analytics, Global Trade Technology, Trading Company, and Government & Public Affairs. You will also engage with Product Supply Chain, factory partners, and Logistics Service Providers on strategic initiatives and special projects. This role requires a proactive and highly organized professional who can navigate complexity, communicate effectively, and influence across diverse teams and organizational levels to deliver strategic outcomes for Global Trade & Customs.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for an experienced trade professional with strong project management capabilities, customs and trade subject matter expertise, and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global environment. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, collaborative partner, and effective influencer who can drive alignment, improve business processes, and deliver results across a dynamic and evolving trade landscape.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and trainingMinimum of 5 years of experience in customs and trade-related roles, preferably with exposure to international trade operations, project management, data analysis, and trade systems.U.S. Customs Broker License preferred.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally, including with virtual teams, to build trusted relationships and drive shared outcomes.Proven ability to lead ad hoc and complex global projects with ambiguous requirements, including process design, implementation, and continuous improvement.This position requires the ability to support International teams. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and be available for early morning and evening calls as required to support business needsWHAT YOU’LL WORK ONThis role sits within the Trade & Customs team and will focus on building and advancing Nike’s global trade capabilities to support growth, strengthen compliance, and optimize the cross-border movement of Nike products. Key responsibilities include applying customs operations expertise, managing a portfolio of trade programs, leading trade-related projects, enabling strong partner collaboration, and implementing scalable process improvements. The role will also guide cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders across organizational levels, and deliver strategic outcomes for Supply Chain & Planning Operations (SCPO) Flow Trade & Customs. Strong project management skills are essential to successfully lead complex global initiatives from planning through execution.Lead customs and trade operations workstreams, with a focus on Tariff Classification, Special Trade Programs management, and Export Controls processes, in close partnership with key stakeholders.Lead trade-related projects with Global Trade Network partners to provide critical visibility, support decision-making, and help mitigate uncertainty from trade disruptions.Drive cross-functional customs and trade business processes that improve operational efficiency and strengthen customs compliance.Support trade data, analytics, and capability-building initiatives that enable stronger insights, governance, and execution.Partner with operations and management stakeholders at all levels to influence priorities, enable alignment, and drive sustainable change.Support training by developing, coordinating, and delivering trade and customs guidance, tools, and materials that strengthen stakeholder understanding and operational readiness.We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
