Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Sentara is hiring a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologis t for a Full time, day shift position in Norfolk, VA! The Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered, charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction. Competency in three areas or primary specialty work in the area of epilepsy or evoked potential intra-operative monitoring. Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required and one year of experience required. Associates Degree Electro neurodiagnostic Tech Preferred. Certifications: RegisteredElectroencephalographicTechnician (EEG) Or Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (REPT) Or Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) Required BLS required Experience: Invasive and Non-Invasive Experience preferred keywords: Clinical Non-Nursing, Neurodiagnostic, Neuro Tech, EEG Certified, EEG Tech, Electroencephalographic #Talroo - Allied Health We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $29.99 - $45.82 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
