This role involves delivering high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill children.Key ResponsibilitiesAssesses comprehensive data including physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and interprets assessment information to derive the diagnosis.Involves patient, family and health care team members in formulating a culturally appropriate individualized plan of care and identifies expected outcomes based on nursing assessment and diagnosis.Implements the plan of care in partnership with the patient, family and health care team members.Utilizes teaching strategies appropriate to the individual patient's condition and learning needs.Evaluates the patient/family's understanding of and response to the plan of care.Required QualificationsBSN or in progressPhiladelphia RN licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationPEAR, PALS, ACLS: Obtain within 1 year of employmentPreferred QualificationsTwo years acute care nursing experienceBilingual English/SpanishCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
