divh2Job Title/h2pThe responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliImplementing Patient Firsts policies and procedures;/liliOffering quality nursing care and generating a genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees;/liliProviding nursing care in the ambulatory setting to individual patients and families;/liliUsing sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients;/liliAdministering medications and knowing correct dosage, actions, and side effects of each medication administered;/liliAssisting the physician in all emergency cases;/liliProviding positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactions;/liliFostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere;/liliCompleting other duties as directed./li/ulpMinimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliEmployee must be at least 18 years of age;/liliHigh school graduate or equivalent;/liliKeyboarding experience required;/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills;/liliOne year of clerical experience preferred;/liliOne year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred;/liliLicensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Virginia.
