Job Description

This Senior Mechanical Engineer will be:

Partnering with senior technical leadership to master advanced mold design principles
Applying proprietary mold design methodologies across lens and glass types
Leading the design and development of complex precision molds
Spearheading initiatives to enable larger-diameter lens manufacturing
Creating detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation
Analyzing mold performance data and driving continuous improvements
Troubleshooting complex molding challenges and developing solutions
Mentoring engineers and strengthening organizational mold design knowledge
Supporting new product introductions with innovative mold solutions

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will have:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
7+ years of experience in mechanical design or precision manufacturing
Strong expertise in CAD, tolerance analysis, and GD&T
Deep understanding of materials, thermal behavior, and manufacturing processes
Proven ability to lead complex technical development projects
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with mold design, tooling, or precision optics preferred
Advanced degree or simulation experience a plus
