Qualifications & Experience: Active RN licensure in good standing Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or similar procedural nursing environments Proficiency with monitoring patients during moderate sedation and interventional procedures Solid understanding of sterile techniques, patient safety, and radiology equipment Strong communication and critical thinking skills ACLS and BLS certifications preferred Schedule & Hours: Contract position with a schedule to be provided at assignment Flexibility for some on-call or variable shifts may be required Role Responsibilities: Prepare patients for interventional procedures, including assessments and IV starts Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, technologists, and other nursing staff Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, documenting condition and interventions as specified by protocols Administer medications and provide patient education regarding procedures and recovery expectations Uphold infection control protocols and ensure accurate charting throughout patient care Respond effectively to any emergencies or complications during procedures In this engaging position, you will become an essential resource for patients and providers, ensuring the highest levels of safety and comfort.
