Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Per DiemWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Mercy in Omaha, Nebraska. As an OTA with our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional rehabilitation services to patients in a skilled nursing facility. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily living activities, enhancing their quality of life, and facilitating their overall rehabilitation goals.This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment, providing a dynamic and challenging work setting.Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patientsProvide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational TherapistConduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify treatment goals and outcomesImplement and modify treatment plans to meet individual patient needsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careMaintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatmentQualifications:Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institutionCurrent state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy AssistantPrevious experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred, but not requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a teamExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesCompassionate and patient-focused approach to careAs a PRN OTA at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Mercy, you will have the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking a variable schedule.
