Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous charge experience preferred.

Special Requests: Minimal RTO please.

Unit Details: LPN may not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg. Overflow med/surg tele unit for ED boarder patients. Flex space inside GI Endoscopy space; patient volume may increase or decrease depending on demand and boarder numbers. SBAR is used for ED patients; verbal report is expected for other transfers and admissions.

Shift & Scheduling: Block scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed. Every other weekend. Call required depending on staffing needs.

Floating Requirements: Based on turn, would float to care for med/surg patients.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
