Teller

What You'll Do

• Welcome members and provide friendly, professional, and efficient service
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and other financial transactions accurately
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer while following established cash-handling procedures
• Assist members with questions and help identify solutions to meet their financial needs
• Educate members about Heritage products and services that may benefit them
• Protect member information and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Follow credit union policies, procedures, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to support branch operations and provide an excellent member experience
• Assist with additional branch responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Teller, cash-handling, banking, credit union, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and system proficiency
• Ability to learn and use credit union systems and technology
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, credit union products and services

Physical Requirements

• Ability to handle cash, paperwork, and member transactions accurately
• Ability to communicate effectively with members and team members
