About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80113!
Job Title: Travel RN - Cardiac ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in ICU hospital experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience - BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications Description: This is a Travel RN position in the Cardiac ICU. The unit has a total of 16 beds. There are 60 staff members working on this unit. Day Shift includes 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT. Night Shift includes 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT. The patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients. The type of equipment used includes cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters. Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations is preferred. Candidates should have prior experience with Meditech EMR. Typical procedures performed in this unit include intubations and central line placement. Collaboration and being a team player are essential attributes for candidates. Patient care experience is a priority. There is 24/7 physician coverage, including intensivists and neuro-intensivists. This position offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
