Altech Recycling, LLC, a partnership of Alter Trading Corporation (which includes Tenenbaum Recycling Group, LLC) and Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., is searching for a Transportation and Scale Coordinator at our brand-new facility in North Little Rock, AR. This administrative role will be part office, transportation and scale administration duties. The specific responsibilities include: Responsibilities Utilizing computerized truck scale, will capture and enter records for in-bound and out-bound trucks’ freight weights in the inventory management system; prepare and/or complete in-bound and out-bound paperwork for drivers. Will give third party drivers directions within the facility. Positive customer service interaction is required. Enter all trip tickets for customer pick-ups into the inventory management system, this will include hours per run and mileage. Review trip tickets for errors using the inventory management system. Run day-end reports to ensure inventory and prices are updated utilizing inventory management system. Schedule the weekly plan for daily outbound trucks and shipments (domestic and export) based on the operations’ shipping schedule; communicate with the operations management team on a regular basis. Will make bookings with export shipments; coordinate backhauls where possible with outbound schedules. May complete and review any export documentation, including but not limited to taking pictures of the load and emailing details to appropriate individuals. Will ensure documentation for all shipments are accurate and in compliance with state, federal and international regulations or trade agreements. Assists in the timely completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution including customs filing and preparation of shipment documentation Assists in resolving issues with carriers, clients, customs or government officials; assists with any claims- related issues including investigating all past-due freight bills. Run reports (from inventory management system, spreadsheets and manual) on a scheduled and as-needed basis Receives, codes and documents approval for payment of invoices Answers incoming calls; gives directions to drivers Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience; includes a strong benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, and retirement plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alter Trading Corp.
