Senior Paid Social Specialist

The Senior Paid Social Specialist is responsible for leading paid social strategy, execution, and performance across a portfolio of client accounts. This role serves as the paid social subject matter expert for assigned business, translating client objectives into strategic channel recommendations while driving campaign performance through thoughtful optimization, testing, and innovation. The ideal candidate brings deep platform expertise, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to independently manage complex client relationships while mentoring junior team members. This individual serves as a trusted resource for the paid social team, providing strategic guidance, reinforcing best practices, and helping elevate overall team performance. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive paid social strategies aligned with client business objectives, recommending audiences, platforms, budgets, creative approaches, testing roadmaps, flighting strategies, and measurement plans Lead the planning, execution, optimization, and performance analysis of paid social campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, X, and emerging channels Own day-to-day paid social strategy and campaign performance across assigned client accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scale, and overall business results Analyze campaign performance and develop strategic recommendations that translate platform insights into actionable business decisions Lead recurring client meetings and present campaign performance, optimization recommendations, testing results, and strategic roadmaps Serve as the primary paid social resource for assigned accounts, partnering closely with Analytics, Media Planning, Creative, Account Service, and Media Operations to deliver integrated campaign solutions Lead campaign QA and review campaign builds, reporting, and optimization recommendations for quality, accuracy, and strategic rigor before Manager review Mentor Associate and Paid Social Specialists through coaching, training, workflow guidance, and platform education while supporting onboarding of new team members Identify opportunities to improve team processes, documentation, training materials, and operational efficiencies Stay ahead of industry trends, privacy changes, platform capabilities, and emerging technologies, bringing proactive recommendations to both clients and internal teams Escalate significant business risks, strategic shifts, budget changes, or client concerns to Manager or Director leadership while providing recommended solutions Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered 4–6 years of paid social or digital media experience within an agency or client-side environment Advanced experience managing campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and multiple paid social advertising platforms Demonstrated experience developing paid social strategy and translating business objectives into platform execution Strong understanding of attribution, measurement, conversion tracking, privacy considerations, pixels, conversion APIs, and platform reporting limitations Proven ability to analyze performance data and develop strategic recommendations supported by campaign insights Experience presenting campaign performance and recommendations directly to clients. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple client accounts simultaneously Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship management skills Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint Meta Blueprint Buying Certification and additional platform certifications preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Mindstream Media Group
