Overview Salary is dependent on years of experience plus a 10% bonus potential, profit sharing, 401(k) match, and benefits after 30 days. This first‑shift operation offers a Monday through Friday schedule starting at 7 a.m., minimal after‑hour calls, and virtually no Saturdays. Our privately held company is owned and led by executives with a decade of experience, and it is rapidly expanding through organic growth and acquisitions. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the VP of Operations and manages up to 15 direct and indirect staff members. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight: Manages daily warehouse operations and overall conditions to align with company performance goals and customer expectations. Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Develops and implements hazardous materials management programs, safety protocols, and health programs such as spills response and chemical hygiene to meet legal mandates. Financial Management: Monitors cost controls to achieve financial targets, manages labor utilization to minimize costs, and prepares capital expenditure proposals. Quality & Continuous Improvement: Maintains and audits Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ISO standards while encouraging continuous improvement across all functions. Team Leadership & Coaching: Conducts performance appraisals, develops succession plans, and provides professional leadership to foster a stable work environment and minimize turnover. Customer & Business Development: Acts as the primary contact for customer issues and assists with business development initiatives, including contract negotiations and customer visits. Facility & Asset Maintenance: Oversees maintenance of facilities and equipment, identifying asset obsolescence or remodeling needs based on operational requirements. Qualifications & Experience A minimum high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 2–5 years of similar warehouse management experience. Experience in warehousing chemical and HAZMAT‑related materials. Supervision experience in non‑union work environments. Experience working with an ERP or WMS system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Preferred Skills Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports. Knowledge of QMS systems, specifically ISO. Strong safety and quality background. Budget or P&L management. 3PL experience.
