Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Perfusionist - Perfusionist

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of perfusionist experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Call responsibilities include weekdays and weekends in rotation
• 1:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• Must be available for Emergency Team assignments during facility emergencies
• Current Louisiana State Board of Medical Perfusionist license required at time of submission
• Must be over 65 miles from facility address (no local travelers accepted)
• Completion of formal training program in Extracorporeal Technology required
• Certification by The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion required
• BLS certification required
• Conduct adult cardiopulmonary bypass procedures
• Provide ventricular assist support and Intra Aortic Balloon Pump support
• Conduct ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
• Perform auto transfusion, physiological monitoring, and hemofiltration including acute dialysis
• Operate various blood analyzers and Ex-vivo organ systems
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with pending license
