Registered Nurse - GI/Endoscopy

Schedule

This position requires a 4 - 10 hour shifts schedule with variable timings and a shared on-call rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in GI/Endoscopy to join our team. The role involves providing nursing care in various Outpatient Services areas, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and the Pre-operative Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment and patient education before and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Float as needed throughout the Outpatient Services area to meet patient care needs.
• Administer conscious sedation for special procedures under established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Strong experience in GI and Endoscopy nursing roles.
• ANA or other relevant certifications are preferred.
