This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams while making a measurable impact on performance and innovation.Your Role at a GlanceProvide day-to-day technical support to resolve process and quality issuesMonitor and optimize process variables to improve consistency and reduce variationLead and support continuous improvement and quality initiativesAnalyze process data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunitiesDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructionsTrain and coach operators while capturing critical process knowledgeSupport plant trials, new process development, and implementation of new technologiesCollaborate with R&D, Industrialization, and global process teamsContribute technical expertise to capital projects and equipment upgradesAudit processes to ensure adherence to standards and sustain improvementsParticipate in benchmarking and technology evaluationsSupport troubleshooting during operational events, including occasional off-hour supportWhat Sets You ApartWe're looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials Science, or related field) required1–5 years of experience in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry preferredExposure to hot rolling, pipe manufacturing, or metal forming processes is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and process control principlesKnowledge of metallurgy, thermal processes, or deformation processes preferredExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Familiarity with data analysis tools and process monitoring systems preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyDemonstrated initiative, accountability, and results orientationStrong shop-floor engagement and ability to build trust with operations teamsWhat Powers Your PerformanceSuccess in this role is driven by a strong mix of personal ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
