Role Description
Job Title: Program Manager / Sr. Project Manager
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract on W2
The following skills sets are required:
- The client is looking for a PM with Healthcare experience plus Medicaid background.
- Exposure with integration experience with BCBS would be a big plus.
- Requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience with project management in mid to large scale or high visibility business initiatives/projects with varying complexity.
- Proven customer, requirements, and project management skills and experience, with additional desire for testing skills and experience.
- Proven ability to build solid working relationships with all stakeholders essential for project success.
- Strong communication skills with written and verbal English language proficiency.
- Good time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to coordinate closely with IT management, team members, and Agency personnel.
- Experience with developing and maintaining project documentation, scope, schedules, and budgets using Microsoft Project.
- Experience with business process modeling using Visio or similar tools.
- Experience gathering and managing requirements/stories in Word.
- Experience or knowledge of industry-standard business analysis methodologies and techniques from BABOK (preferred) or PM-BA preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of industry-standard project management methodology and techniques from PMBOK.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience.
- Healthcare and Medicaid background.
- Experience with integration and BCBS.
- Proven customer and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with project documentation and management tools.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio, and MS Project/MS Project Online.
- Experience with business process modeling.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies (BABOK preferred).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK).
