Field Service Technician / Handyman

Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex

Pay: $20–$30/hour (based on experience) + performance bonuses

Employment Type: Part-Time/Full-Time/Contract

What You'll Do

Every day is different. You'll complete a variety of residential projects including:

• TV mounting
• Furniture assembly
• Art, mirror, and shelving installation
• Curtain rod and blind installation
• Ceiling fan installation
• Light fixture replacement
• Door hardware installation
• Drywall repair
• Painting and touch-ups
• Caulking
• Gutter cleaning and repairs
• Fence and gate repairs
• Basic carpentry
• Minor plumbing repairs
• General home maintenance and repairs
• Landscaping
• etc
  

You'll also communicate directly with customers, provide solutions when additional needs arise, and ensure every customer has a five-star experience.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional/tidy appearance and positive attitude
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Honest, dependable, and punctual
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous handyman or residential maintenance experience
• Experience using common power and hand tools
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Current vehicle registration and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Own truck
• Own professional-grade tools
• Experience across multiple trades
• Bilingual is a plus
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift heavy objects
• Frequently climb ladders
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, get in tight spaces and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable driving between multiple job sites throughout DFW
