Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.13 / Hour Job Schedule: Thursday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Friday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Saturday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sunday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations through established site procedures. Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders, and following post orders for assigned patrol duties. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
