Join our team! This LVN - Psychiatric Unit position is located at the Corona Regional Rehabilitation Center in Corona, CA, in an acute locked psychiatric unit. You will work every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00pm to 7:30am. Reporting to the Nurse Manager and Director of Behavioral Health Services, this position will require accountability for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to your care. Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing process skills to deliver quality care to patients with serious and persistent mental illness. Work in conjunction with the Charge Nurse and may function as Relief Charge Nurse, as needed.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnosis(es), terminology, and medical record charting.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- At least two (2) years experience working with clients with serious and persistent mental illness, preferably one of those years in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Assaultive Behavior Management Training required within 90 days from date of hire.
- Current California LVN license required.
- Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
