Job Type & Pay Job Type: Full‑Time, Hourly, Overtime Opportunities Pay Range: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour based upon experience What You’ll Do Load, deliver, and install equipment at a variety of customer sites for emergency or scheduled events, sometimes requiring long drives or overnight stays. Serve customers by being the face of Axis on the frontlines, providing professional, respectful service while performing work and solving on‑site challenges. Work with your team by tracking activity and progress through job notes and updates, keeping everything organized using company‑provided technology. Uphold our standards by keeping equipment clean, vehicles organized, and adhering to professional uniform standards while delivering industry‑leading customer service. What It Takes Driving experience: 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; experience in box‑trucks and sprinter vans is a plus. A 5‑year clean driving record is required. DOT medical card: Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card. Physical demands: Work indoors and outdoors, often in extreme heat or cold, handling tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 25+ lbs. and comfortable working on ladders. Communication skills: Effective communicator with strong problem‑solving abilities and a professional demeanor. Technology skills: Comfortable with mobile devices, tablets, and laptops; able to navigate apps, complete digital records, and communicate with customers. HVAC experience: 1+ year of HVAC technician experience preferred. A desire to grow: Strong desire to deepen expertise in HVAC diagnostics, service, and responsibilities, taking on more complex challenges each year. When & Where You’ll Work Weekly schedule & on‑call requirements: Regular schedule with availability for rotating on‑call shifts—night, weekend, and holiday emergencies required. Seasonal demand: Expect more overtime opportunities during peak summer/winter seasons and emergencies like wildfires, hurricanes, heat waves, and winter storms. On the road: Responsible for transporting equipment to customer sites—quick local drop‑offs or multi‑hour trips, sometimes driving solo or with a teammate. Varied work environments: Work in places such as retail stores, construction projects, and manufacturing plants; time unloading and installing equipment can range from minutes to a full day. Warehouse: When not on the road, unbox, test, prepare, and clean equipment so the team is ready for the next job. Why Join Axis?
