Closer Position

Your specific duties will include:

• Review approved assumption files and verify all underwriting, investor, and closing requirements have been satisfied prior to closing.
• Coordinate with title companies, closing attorneys, borrowers, and other parties to facilitate timely and accurate closings.
• Review closing documentation for completeness and accuracy and ensure all required signatures, notarizations, and supporting documents are obtained.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for closing-related matters, resolving issues and communicating status updates throughout the closing process.
• Monitor closing timelines, address conditions or deficiencies, and ensure all parties are prepared to close as scheduled.
• Review post-closing packages, resolve documentation deficiencies, and coordinate corrections as needed.
• Submit completed closing packages for boarding, servicing updates, investor review, or other post-closing requirements.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage closing, title, escrow, or related mortgage industry experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and closing schedules simultaneously.
• Ability to identify documentation deficiencies and ensure that all closing requirements are satisfied.

Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
