Colaborará para construir, instalar y reparar una variedad de proyectos en su mayoría residenciales, especialmente remodelación de cocinas y baños, terrazas, pequeñas adiciones, así como trabajos en casas de época más antiguas. Se necesitarán conocimientos sobre la instalación de molduras, la construcción e instalación incorporadas, la instalación de puertas y ventanas. También se necesita la voluntad de trabajar con carpinteros capacitados. Debe saber leer e interpretar planos, trabajar con materias primas y acabados, y tener un buen conocimiento práctico de las herramientas y equipos estándar de la industria. Actualmente con una gran cantidad de trabajo, por lo que este es un puesto de tiempo completo. El trabajo se encuentra principalmente en la costa norte, por lo que es preferible vivir más cerca. Esta es una empresa de estilo familiar y no para todos. Deberes y responsabilidades del carpintero Leer e interpretar planos, dibujos y bocetos y comprender las especificaciones del proyecto. Tomar medidas y calcular los tamaños y cantidades de materiales necesarios para el proyecto. Construya marcos de ventanas, puertas, escaleras, edificios de marcos y otras estructuras utilizando materias primas o elementos preconstruidos. Instale revestimientos, gabinetes, molduras, zócalos, ventanas (exteriores e interiores) y pisos de madera. Inspeccionar los productos y realizar reparaciones o mantenimiento según sea necesario. Cumplir con todas las pautas de seguridad de la empresa y del gobierno (OSHA). Requisitos y calificaciones de carpintero Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente. Finalización de un programa de carpintería en una escuela vocacional o preferiblemente aprendizaje de carpintería. Conocimiento sólido de las técnicas y métodos de carpintería, incluyendo la instalación y el trabajo de construcción y acabado. Competente en el uso de herramientas eléctricas y manuales, así como en herramientas de medición. Capaz de leer e interpretar planos y dibujos técnicos.
