Provide excellent customer service by conducting scale operations, ticket pricing and processing, cash handling, vehicle purchases, and vehicle titles processing.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service.
• Operate ScrapRight recycling software.
• Ensure that the correct amount is paid out on each ticket.
• Ensure that each ticket is priced correctly.
• Weigh incoming and outgoing commercial and customer vehicles on the scale.
• Maintain traffic tickets for trucks.
• Maintain ScrapRight tickets for customers.
• Accurately count cash in the drawer at the end of business operations and record in the denomination spreadsheet.
• Produce end-of-day reports (denomination spreadsheet, cashier reconciliation report, and purchase report).
• Operate the mainline of the facilities’ telephone (quote material prices, arrange vehicle purchases, forward call to necessary department, etc.).
• Arrange vehicle purchases by taking vehicle information from the customer and transferring them to the necessary personnel for a quote.
• Check the condition of purchased vehicles upon delivery by the customer. 
• Process vehicle titles in accordance with state regulations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Completed high school education or GED.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other software.
• At least 1 year of experience with general customer service. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in recycling industry.
• Experience with processing titles.
• Experience with cash-handling.
