Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience License: Active Illinois License Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS Must-Have: - Active Illinois Nurse Agency license Description: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse cares for women during labor and childbirth. The RN monitors the baby and the mother throughout the process. The RN coaches mothers and assists doctors during delivery. The RN prepares women and their families for the stages of giving birth. The RN supports patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born. The Birthing Center averages 200 births per month.
