Future opportunity Program Director positions with Risk Program Administrators. Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Program Director to lead property and casualty risk‑sharing programs. Responsibilities include: Driving the overall client strategy to meet and exceed client expectations and growth goals. Managing the book of business, including renewals and growth of existing accounts. Coordinating involvement of company personnel to meet strategic objectives, conducting stewardship reviews, developing and executing strategic plans. Ensuring timely resolution and satisfactory outcomes to client issues. Acting as main point of contact on pooling and captive clients. Designing program structure recommendations and coordinating vendor services (legal, captive/program management, actuarial). Reviewing contracts. Reviewing governing documents (membership/participation agreements). Preparing and/or reviewing required regulatory submissions and participating in regulator meetings. Designing underwriting applications. Overseeing renewal processing, collecting data for actuarial analysis, reviewing actuarial analyses, establishing underwriting and rating guidelines. Manuscript new policy wording for all lines of coverage. Coordinating broker placement of primary, excess/reinsurance and ancillary lines including market submission, proposal reviews, and recommendations. Coordinating vendor items for board and captive support. Preparing agendas, meeting materials, and travel/meeting logistics. Reviewing financial audits and required regulatory filings. Providing peer‑review support as needed. Researching and providing participant recommendations for RFPs. Drafting materials specific to client requirements. Managing RFP process, timeline, and communications with client and participants. Reviewing and providing detailed analysis of proposals. Coordinating and participating in oral interviews. Providing client with general observations and recommendations. Reviewing and recommending coverage enhancements for existing programs. Preparing detailed coverage comparisons and coverage analysis. Reviewing legislative changes impacting programs and providing recommendations. Reviewing and monitoring program invoices for accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years related experience. Willingness to travel up to 20%. Additional designations such as CPCU, ARM, CIC, etc. (Preferred) Property and casualty producer’s license (life and health license preferred, but not required). Prior experience using a sales management tool. Professional designation related to life health. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong problem‑solving skills focused on solutions to root cause. Strong project management skills. Proven ability to create and implement a system or program. Strong technical insurance knowledge (policies and various property and casualty coverage forms). Successfully manage competing priorities. Proficient using technology to maximize productivity and quality. Build collaborative and mutually meaningful relationships with internal and external clients. Comfortably engage others in a consultative sales dialogue. Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
