Product Demonstrator Part Time

Position: Associate (Retail) Company: Crossmark Inc. Job Category: Retail Position Type: Part time Business Unit: Marketing Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.00 Responsibilities Perform in-store food and non-food product demonstrations. Acquire and maintain product knowledge. Prepare, serve, and break down products, equipment, and supplies. Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner. Maintain overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers. Effectively communicate features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Set up and prepare event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per Company Policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate internal systems, use Microsoft Outlook, view assigned documents including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms. Note: This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although company discretion may adjust based on business needs. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, applications, and internal systems. Local Food Handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming. Follow retailer dress code requirements. Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required.
