Data Center Infrastructure Analyst

Overview Data Center Infrastructure Analyst role at vBold LLC in the Miami area. This is an hourly contract position for ad hoc support. Key Responsibilities Install, rack, and cable servers, switches, and other IT equipment in data centers according to best practices. Configure management ports and perform initial connectivity tests for newly deployed devices. Run and terminate structured cabling, including copper network cables and fiber optics. Install and initial configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems on deployed hardware. Drivers and firmware updates Replacement of Disk, Memory, Processor, Network, or HBA Interfaces, and other components. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in physically installing servers, storage, and network equipment in racks. Knowledge of configuring management interfaces and connecting devices in data center environments. Hands-on experience with structured cabling (network and fiber optic). Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems. Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and compliance standards. Experience in troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues across infrastructure layers. Languages Fluency in English. Location This role is based in the Miami area. Employment type This is an hourly contract position for ad hoc support. The professional will be engaged on demand and compensated by the hour rather than in a full-time employment model.
