Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2:1 patient ratio. Every other weekend required. One 12-hour call shift per schedule. Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed.

Highlights:

• Labor & Delivery unit with circulating for C-sections
• 12-bed unit with daily census of 5 patients
• 2:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 36 hours of paid orientation to ensure smooth integration
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off available per contract

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• Experience circulating for C-sections
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
• All compliance documents must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date

Additional Information:

• Holiday coverage: If one or two major holidays fall during your assignment, you will be expected to work them. If three major holidays fall during your assignment, you will be expected to work two.
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Time off requests must be finalized at time of submission; no requests can be made post-offer or onsite
• No time off can be requested during orientation week
• Non-billable orientation modules will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty
