Overview
MRI Technologist – MRI specialty in Corvallis, Oregon. Start date: 10/12/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks with anticipated extension to approximately six months. Weekly pay: $2,666 to $2,867 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 days, with 0700–1530 or 1000–1830 shifts; no weekends. Setting: a short-term acute care hospital.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations following approved protocols and safety guidelines.
- Position patients and select appropriate MRI sequences to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, monitor during imaging, and ensure patient comfort.
- Administer contrast media as required and within scope of practice; document procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff to ensure accurate, timely results and maintain image quality.
- Maintain equipment, follow radiation and safety regulations, document procedures, and protect patient privacy.

Requirements
- Active ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credentials.
- Current unencumbered Oregon MRI license.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred.
- Hospital setting experience preferred.
